Casa Italiana is specialized on the development of international business, related to the import and export of food and fine drinks. Our goal is to connect producers with the need to expand their international business to importers in search of new products. The solid and growing network of customers and suppliers of Casa Italiana always guarantees a customized solution for each business.

Our headquarters are located in Rio de Janeiro and our mother language is the Portuguese, which allows us to be very familiar with the way business are done in Brazil with its peculiarities and cultural differences. All these factors guarantee the perfect synergy between our customers and suppliers.

The history of Casa Italiana begins in the year of 1987 in the city of Rome - Italy, still with the name Amadio Agencies. Its founder, Adriano Amadio, decided to make use of his great experience in the oleary and oenological sectors and created a consulting and commercial representation office specialized in foreign markets for Italian wine and food producers. The main buyer markets at the time were Europe, United States and Canada.

In 1992 Brazil opened its borders for imports and Amadio Agencies opens a branch in Rio de Janeiro already anticipating the great potential of this market. Brazil, until then unexplored but with continental dimensions, was quickly very receptive to our products and services. The turn of the millennium has already been marked by the office's full dedication to the Brazilian market.

In 2009 a new cycle begins with the transfer of the Italian headquarters to Brazil and thus the branch of Rio de Janeiro becomes the new headquarters. At the same time, the company's restructuring was officialized with the left of its founder and the entrance of the brothers José Claudio and Sergio Guimarães at companies board. Employees at the same company since 1996, the Guimarães brothers became partners-directors. The many years of experience lived in Italy and all the know-how acquired in these years through the coexistence with Mr. Amadio gave the necessary strength to this important transition.

In 2013 another important stage was concluded and 26 years after its foundation, Amadio Agencies is now called Casa Italiana. This is the conclusion of a long and solid process of renewal inside the company.

Casa Italiana is proud to act on a national basis and to have in its portfolio some of the most renowned Italian producers, as well as most of the main Brazilian importers. We are today, one of the most renowned Italian representation and consulting offices for Brazil.
Casa Italiana is already working to take its next step which will be to expand its services to Latin America.
